Son And Isle Leisure (SAIL) Ministries is located on the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina. 
SAIL Ministries was incorporated in 1990 as an interdenominational evangelistic association
and has obtained a non-profit 501(c)(3) Corporation status. 
The mission of SAIL Ministries is dedicated to furthering the Kingdom of God
through resort &  leisure ministries. 

The purpose of any Resort ministry is to communicate the Gospel to persons in a resort area
- whether they are on vacation, seasonal workers or permanent residents. 
Resort Ministry strives to reach people outside the four walls of the church
to meet them right where they are - at work or at play.
This is accomplished in various ways through creative and traditional means. 
One of the most important aspects is "earning the right to be heard".

SAIL Ministries, Incorporated operates under the co-direction of Greg & Cindy Wise.    
The Wise's have called the Outer Banks their home since 1986 when Greg was first called
to pastor a local Baptist mission church. 

Greg and Cindy have been trained in resort and leisure ministries through the
North American Mission Board and the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. 

Greg received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Elementary Education from George Mason University in Virginia. 
He received his M.Div degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in North Carolina.   
Greg is a full-time Title I Reading/Math teacher at First Flight Elementary School. 
Aside from ministry, Greg's passion is being on the water!  He started out surfing, then discovered sailing and lately has taken up kayaking! 
Cindy received her degree in Art with a minor in Education. For 13 years she was the full-time art teacher at Kitty Hawk Elementary School.  She is currently the art teacher at the new Nags Head Elementary School.  When time allows, she is learning to weave on a floor loom.
