Festivals are the events we participate in annually. 
Although they are usually just one day events;  many ministry teams are needed throughout the day. 
We like to have groups/individuals serve in 2 hour increments.

    Ministry activities at festivals usually include our repertoire of Facepainting, Treasure Bags,
 Balloons, Button making, and Jewelry making,

Our advice on festivals:
Adopt a servant's heart when checking into possible ministry at festivals. 
Listen to see what is really needed!
Is help needed with set-up, passing out flyers, directing traffic?
The Lord can allow many doors to open through service ministry! 
We have seen this happen during our early years at Dare Day!

Festival arts can be great fundraisers for youth groups. 
However, our conviction is to offer everything for free.
People cannot believe that anything is for free anymore - this can be
a great opening line for, "Jesus gives freely to us, we give freely to you
